Our English speaking guide will pick you up from 3:00am to 3:30am at your hotel in Arequipa to leave towards Colca Canyon (ride in mini-bus). Stop in Chivay, located at 3650 metres above sea level (11975 ft.), to breakfast around 7:00am. Then you will continue to the viewpoint of the "Cross of Condor" where you will be able to watch these impressive condors flying above the Colca Canyon. After that, the bus will take you to the Pampa San Miguel (3280 meters above sea level - 10761 ft.), where the trek will start. You will undertake the descent in the canyon with your private guide during 3 hours before a little rise to San Juan de Chuccho (located at 2300 meters above sea level - 7545 ft.). Lunch then visit of the surroundings and discovery of Cabana culture, specific to the canyon. Dinner and overnight stay in private room in a little lodge.

You will take your breakfast then you will start walking toward the Oasis of Sangalle. You will cross the small villages of Cosnirhua and Malata (and optionally Tapay). You will be able to see how local people live in the Colca Canyon. Lunch in Sangalle. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the swimming pools and the privileged environment offered by this oasis. Dinner then overnight stay in simple and clean bungalows.

Very early wake up to start the demanding climb to Cabanaconde village. Breakfast on-site before taking the mini-bus. On the road, you will make some stops to admire pre-Inca terraces before heading for the hot springs of the Colca Valley where you will enjoy a relaxing bath. Lunch in Chivay then departure for Arequipa (possibility to take a direct bus to Puno, please inform us during the booking and in this case your luggage could be stored in Chivay during the 3 days of the trek). You will stop at the mirador of volcanoes located at 4910 meters above sea level (16108 ft) to enjoy the unbelievable panorama (if you want to undertake the ascent of a volcano, click here). Arrival in Arequipa around 6:00pm.
