Hello Thomas, I’m very well thank you. I had a really good time exploring different parts of Colca, learned a lot. Roy was great as a guide, he was friendly, open and flexible. The tour was well organized. I absolutely loved hotel Miskiwasi, it was a perfect resting place. The food was good, and the host was really nice and went out of her way to ensure I was comfortable. Hi Thomas, the tour was really great! Rolando was a fantastic guide. He was so kind and extremely knowledgeable. We learned so much from him and he went out of his way to show the kids different wildlife, stones, flowers etc. I have been on many trips over the years and he is probably the best guide I have ever had. He really went out of his way to show us the land and culture of the region. The hotel at Miskiwasi was perfect. Cute, comfortable, and the restaurant was excellent. The horse riding was also wonderful! I really enjoyed the Peruvian pasos, they were very sure footed and they really took care of us over difficult terrain. But at the same time they were very smooth and sensitive! Really fun to ride. The guides let us trot and even canter a bit, which my kids really enjoyed. The second day climbing the mountain was amazing. Views were spectacular. I would love to come back and do the 5 day horse riding trip someday 😊 We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much. We had an amazing time on the horse ride it was one of our favorite experiences in peru. The hotel was lovely. We liked staying in a smaller town, it had a nice feel to it. Our horseriding guide was really great (i only wish we spoke more spanish, but the language barrier was not a problem). We loved how he treated the horses and brought us chaps and helmets. The horses were very responsive and great to ride. thanks!

Hi Thomas - I hope you are well. We had an amazing trip to Colca. The horseback riding was awesome and the views were incredible. We also saw a bunch of condors at the lookout the next day! Hey Thomas, we enjoyed the trip very much. It was an anwsome experience to see the colca valley on a horse back. We had also a lot of luck, we saw a lot of condors, some of them even very close. The host of our hotel in yanque was sooo lovely! Thank you for organizing everything. We had a blast!

Hi Thomas, I really enjoyed this 3 days in Colca valley. We saw a lot of Condores, the Guide in the Bus explained a lot. The Miskiwasi was really nice, specially the lovely couple. I was the only guest both nights. They really cared about me, the dinner was delicious and the two so friendly. Also the horseriding and trekking was fantastic. Althought i' m not that good in spanish, we understand each other. It was beautifull. Thank you for this nice and not so touristic tour! I enjoyed some quiet time for me. Thanks a lot.

Hi Thomas! Yes, we’re doing fine. It’s true Pamela was hit the hardest with altitude sickness (she had to skip the horseback riding), but she eventually got well enough to enjoy Taquile Island despite all the climbing. The horseback riding was a beautiful ride, and the guide (I forgot his name) even showed us what he said were pre-Inca burial sites. The Miski Wasi is a fine place with a very professionally run restaurant. They even attended to Pamela’s condition with oxygen. I would stay there again. Thomas! The horseback ride was an absolute highlight of our trip. Gorgeous scenery experienced in a truly unique way. As first time riders we were well taken care of, but still able to experience the feeling of freedom that comes from snaking through a sun kissed canyon on horseback. The hotel in Yanque was lovely. Nice room. Great food. Very helpful and friendly owners. A gem in a remote place. If there’s a place you’d appreciate a recommendation or testimony, just let me know.

Hello Thomas, Our trip in Colca was very enjoyable. The horseback ride was excellent and the guide, augustomonti was very helpful and kept the ride at a good pace. Hi Thomas! Our trip was awesome!!! The bus guide was really fun, the horse guide was super sweet, and the hotel in Yanque was AMAZING! We definitely tried their alpaca as per your suggestion and now we're scared to order it anywhere else because it just can't live up to their cooking! Hi Thomas, The horseback ride was probably some of the most fun that either of us has had on a tour ever. It was fantastic - horses were great, guide was gracious and the scenery was beautiful, even in spite of the rain. The hotel was such a diamond in the rough. Incredible little set up, with fantastic food and hospitality. We could have happily stayed in Yanques and at the MiskiWasi another night or two. Hey thomas back now in california; i enjoyed the hike and misti experience despite the altitude. i had been sick at machu picchu with a cold, which came back on the ascent, but i wanted to go as high as i could despite the conditions. tito encouraged me to my limits and even beyond in talking w/ my family in arequipa, we agreed that next time i will be in arequipa for 2 entire weeks, to go to chachani and colca (and misti again) i'll be back 🙂 thank you my friend, merci 🙂

Hi Thomas! We enjoyed the tour very very very much. The lady tour guide in the bus was amazing. She explained a lot, was very punctual and spoke great English. Our night stay with Kid was also amazing, the food was outstanding, she is a great cook and host! We had the most fun with the horseback ride. It was incredible how those horses climb up the mountain and the views you get from the top of the mountain over the valley is amazing. Our guide spoke only Spanish but was very good to understand. The cemetery he took us to and the story was very impressive. The Colca canyon was nice, we saw a few condors. During the bus ride there our guide explained a lot about the potatoes, grains and corn they grow in Peru which we found very interesting. After the Colca canyon we got dropped of right at the 4M bus who took us to Puno. The bus ride was OK, with a few nice stops. Thank you very much for this amazing experience!! Kind regards,

It has been a fantastic trip, Thomas! We were proud to reach the Sun Gate and Wendy got up at 3 AM to secure a place in the bus line for herself and Verity and they climbed Wynapiccu. We all enjoyed Victor and the tour of MP. After a day in Cusco shopping and visiting the Cathedral, the MP museum and St Blass church, we are now at the beautiful guest house in Lima. We had a great lunch at Cala and will have a city tour tomorrow. All the arrangements were so well managed and we enjoyed your company and the company of all those who made this a vacation to remember. Thank you again,

Hello Thomas, It's good to hear from you! Yes, we enjoyed our stay in Cusco and visit to Machu Picchu very much. I'm sure you've been told that Wendy went to the bus line at 3am and was the fifth person in line. Verity joined her at four thirty a.m. and they climbed to the top of Wynapicchu. The rest of us got the bus at 7:30am and climbed to the Sun Gate. We all felt that we would have liked an extra day in Machu Picchu Pueblo. We had great meals at La Papillon, Limo, and the Inka Grill (went there twice). We're now at Lilian Delfin's and just delighted with the place. Thank you so much for taking great care of us. Everyone has been terrific. You have great associates and assistants!

Dear Thomas, Thanks a lot for sending the pictures. We really appreciate them. We had a great time in Peru. We have enjoyed the ride very much. Yesterday we had our weekly ride in ridingschool and we really missed the relaxed gate of the peruvian paso horses. We haven't yet sorted out our pictures (hans made an awful lot!). Hi Thomas, Horseriding was amazing, especially in this beautiful landscape! We enjoyed it pretty much, also our guide was nice. The only thing were we are a little bit sad about is, that we don't speak spanish and so our guide can not give us information about the surroundings or the horses... But in total horseriding was so much fun!!! The hotel was nice, also the bed was really good for sleeping! We like chivay and eat a few local specialties from the market, which were very good! The tour to the cruz del condor was also wonderful. We had really nice weather and Beatric was a perfect guide! Her knowledge was great and for every question she had a long and informative answer! We got to know a lot about the whole area, animals and history. Also we are lucky and saw a lot of condors - toke were nice pictures 😉 Here is now place for critic.
