Horseback ride to the Pre-Inca Cemetery of Coporaque - 4 hours

At the scheduled hour, the equestrian guide and the Peruvian Paso Horses will pick us up at the hotel of Yanque. We will pass by the main square of Yanque where a magnificent church has been built in the XVIIth century by the Spanish. We will cross the Rio Colca on the Cervantes Bridge. Then, we will continue the ride in small mountains trails offering a splendid view on the valley. Arrival at the cemetery where the graves present skulls and bones from the Collagua period. Afterward, we will go down to the village of Coporaque. Its fountain represents an Inca with reference to the conquest of the Colca Valley by this famous culture. On the way back to Yanque, we will pass in front of the "amphitheater", which is a succession of pre-Inca terraces in arc-shaped. Before arriving to our hotel, we will cross the impressive Sifon Bridge, from where we can observe the famous "Colca", holes carved in the cliff and used to store cereals.
